Double quotation mark in bash?
I have a bash script, the part that should run is:
find ${runDir}/results/ ${runDir}/results/ ${runDir}/results/ -type d -name "*.${runType}*" -delete
But in the part above, how do I write double quotes around "*.${runType}*"?
A:
As commented by others, there is no need for special characters to make a bash glob expression. You simply write the glob itself, surrounded by double quotes:
#! /bin/bash
for file in "${runDir}/results/" "${runDir}/results/" "${runDir} be359ba680
